Leader of the Grumpy and Poopy Peasants.

CREON
Oedipus' brother in law and right hand man. Brother of Jocasta.

PALACE GUARDS
Faithfully and playfully guarding the palace, they substitute for the Chorus (Oedipus Gold Dancers, Comicles, etc…) between scenes throughout the play.

TIERESIUS The blind future-seer. |

JOCASTA
Wife of Oedipus, Queen of Thebes, Sister of Creon. |

AUDIENCE
Several actors in the audience to interact with the play, make lewd remarks and generally speak for the audience.

MESSENGER
A messenger from Corinth, Oedipus' hometown. |

HERDSMAN
A shepherd from the hills of Cithaeron. He's a little deaf and has a large goitre. |
ANTIGONE and ISMENE
Oedipus' two youngest daughters. They are very young, perhaps four and seven.
