Underground Resources:
Here is a loose collection of sites and organizations that will probably have information and/or services you will want at some point.
Book Market:
A site all about marketing a book, particularly focusing on self-publishers. The self-publishing market is a gold mine because everyone fancies themselves an author. This site succumbs to the general 'get rich quick and become famous!' feel of a motivational speech. That being said, it's got a LOT of good resourcs.
Underground Press:
A great introduction into the Zine world. If you're looking for cool places to find new and exciting work, it's a great place to buy. If you make zines or publish your own work, it's a good place to find other publications that might be interested in reviewing or selling your stuff.
Zine Street:
An amazing site for finding places to find/buy zines and underground books and distros that will sell them.
Broken Pencil:
North America's foremost print magazine all about underground and independent culture. Because it's formost, that also means it's the most 'commercial' and sometimes it just seems like a way to sell the founding editor's books. But it's still a great resource. Published in Toronto.
