Check out my Rejection Museum!

One of the best things about slaving away for hours with a pen or a keyboard to write the perfect story is that, after you're all done, you get to submit your work for 'judgement' by some person you've never heard of who, not only has some lame idea of what makes a good story, but is convinced that they are right about what makes a good story. Of course, they reject your story as trash and send it back to you with no helpful comments. And here I was trying to help them out by sending their publication something that wasn't crap for once! Ah, the glamour of being an artist.

I've gathered so many of these things that I've come to think of it as game where you try and collect 'em all!

The Wall of Shame!

As bad as some of the publications above are for refusing simultaneous submissions, holding your work hostage for three to six months and then responding with an inane, commentless form rejection letter, there have been several publications who couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge that I'd ever submitted to them. These places go to...The Wall of Shame!
