obert Barboza is the editor of a weekly newspaper in southeastern Massachusetts who seems to have been writing and re-writing the same poems for 30 years, trying to get them right. Editors of a couple of little regional poetry mags have encouraged his grand ambition to be published in a highly respected "literary magazine" by printing one of his little poems every now and then. I'd mention those publications, but doubt anyone has ever heard of them. This is the first time he has submitted a poem for consideration by an on-line magazine. When not slaving away at the computer at work, writing stories and news reports for his faithful subscribers, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his faithful canine companion, who seems to love the bits of poems he recites to her as they walk through the woods in search of natural metaphors.
