Uche Ogbuji (http://uche.ogbuji.net) was born in Calabar and flung around the world (Nigeria, Egypt, England, U.S., etc.) by his parents until...read more he figured out the brakes on his skater sneaks and fetched up in the shadow of Boulder's famous Flatirons (what up Chief Niwot!) He juggles a large family with a day job making libraries and their catalogues relevant on the web, as well as snowboarding, coaching, playing and watching soccer (he's a Gooner), kenpo karate, hip-hopping, don't-stopping, finding any excuse to dance, and of course reading and writing poetry. His poems have worldwide and his poetry chapbook, Ndewo, Colorado (Aldrich press, 2013) is a Colorado Book Award Winner. He is editor at Kin Poetry Journal, runs the @ColoradoPoetry Twitter project, and is a founding, former editor at The Nervous Breakdown.
