Love in the Time of the NASA Mars Rover

I've lost the remote control to my brain

this couch makes an excellent spaceship
when the hub of the planet starts here

I feel like a transcendental captain navigating your body

you believe in myths and monsters
I believe in you believing in them
we believe together that our pizza is on the way

my heart is a wireless bass module
scouring the suburban one-way avenues
with delicious noise pollution

About Shawn Misener

4 2
Shawn lives in a declining urban center in Michigan. He was shocked to learn that not everybody knows that the Lower Peninsula is shaped like a mitten. How can they not see that? Shawn writes for Haggard & Halloo and has been published in several small press journals, and he sleeps on the third story, moreround.
