The prince of quiet,

knows not,

to not listen.

Forsaken

by faith in

sloveness,

overtaken

by opposition

of self,

creating

silent screams of

incongruous ignition.

The prince of quiet

thinks too much,

acting,

not enough.

Perversely

stuttering,

catering

to thresholds,

and built up

silo-esq walls

that encompass.

The prince of quiet

sits,

solemnly denying

any bit of

redemption

that boils

in hearts

laden with

volcanic ashes,

leftover

from past

eruptions.

The prince of quiet,

quits

when lines sing,

quits

when wings paint,

quits

when faint explodes

into focus,

exposing the

bleached bones

of truth.

The prince of quiet

forsakes

all spirits,

diffusing contempt

worthy of spewing.

He preaches

the word,

void.

This is a good piece. It has me wondering each time I read it, 'Who is this Prince of Quiet?', 'What are his real intentions?'
