I am a retired United Methodist minister and an ex-con. While playing in a progressive rock band in Greenwich Village, I was drafted. The...read more "Summer of Love" was the start of a year in federal prison for telling the draft board I had no interest in shooting someone, or being shot at by them. Before and after that time, I served churches from the swamps of North Carolina to the wilds of northern New York. I also have played in a number of bands and lived as a singer-songwriter in London for a year. All this was complicated by an unhealthy dose of ASD plus ADD and dyslexia which has resulted in an untold number of songs and poems, of which this submission is the latest example. Currently, I am hunkered down in the Mohawk Valley trying to stay warm and dry.
